Chris and Rob talked to the outrageous Bootsy Collins in January
1999 upon the release of his newest CD "Fresh Outta P University,"
a mix of funk, R&B and hip hop. Bootsy was supposed to come by
The Chris & Rob Show that night in person, but there was evidently
a snow storm and he couldn't "get the spaceship out of the
driveway." Bootsy talks about some of the musicians he's worked
with over the years, including James Brown, George Clinton,
Buckethead and Bill Laswell, and also discusses rap music
and the future of funk and R&B and takes listener phone calls.
