Upon the release of a 2-CD career
retrospective "Everything And
Nothing", Chris Comer interviews British singer, songwriter,
multi- instrumentalist David Sylvian. Known as the former singer of
new-wave group JAPAN, David's career since Japan has been
extraordinary. Albums such as "Gone To Earth" and "Secrets Of The
Beehive" have established David as an introspective singer and
songwriter, and collaborations with artists as diverse as Robert
Fripp, Holgar Czukay, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Bill Frisell and others put
David in good company. In this interview David and Chris discuss
collaborative efforts, the process of assembling compilation albums,
